Clayton Act


Clayton Act
1914 in Ergänzung zum  Sherman Act verabschiedetes amerikanisches Antitrust-Gesetz mit dem Ziel, durch den Sherman Act nicht erfasste Wettbewerbsbeschränkungen zu verbieten und somit die Monopolisierung im Ansatz zu unterbinden (sog. Incipiency Doctrine).
- Inhalt: (1) Verbot kartellrechtlicher Vereinbarungen, z.B. ausschließlicher Bezugsbindungen; (2) Diskriminierungsverbot, 1936 durch den Robinson Patman Act verschärft; (3) Fusionsverbot, 1950 durch den Celler Kefauver Act verschärft.
